Title for Italy Blog

As I prepare for a semester in beautiful Cortona, Italy... I am trying to decide which blog service to use, and a suitable title...

Here is one of my options, more to come..

yes please...

Matador, Madrid Spain, from blog: The Sartorialist

I like this one the best because his face is not the focus, his body is. the figure, and how he is reacting to his surroundings, and the clothing. Also love the detail on the leather.

I'm still a fan

Why you gotta keep the fan on high when it's cold outside?
Just wanna let you know that I'm still a fan- get it?
Everybody wants charm, and a smile, and a promise

Well, I promise not to try...

thought, used vs new

Maybe just maybe I am beginning to understand.
I use what I have to create the unthinkable.
It's called being resourceful.
AND
I live a recycled life, I buy used clothes, used things, etc etc.
There is more meaning more character in the things you surround yourself with.
but then again...
this isn't a finished thought.

Good Morning fellow frolickers

A vest worth savoring

Thanksgiving Break before Italy has proven to be quite a treat. God has supplied me with:
My Pappy coming for the week
More than enough good food
Good company
Gran Turismo 5
Wii
Getting permission to step into the kitchen: my Father's sanctuary
A trip up to Blue Ridge Mountains
Antique shop:
  • a vest worth every penny
  • Victorian patterns
  • and a $5 leather laptop bag

The vest reminded me of Mr. Thomas. If it doesn't fit Mr. handsome, then it will remain in my closet. (another over-sized piece for me to work with, never a downfall)

I love the shops up in Blue Ridge, they have the most interesting stuff, and I swear I will make every effort to fill my house with odds and ends from my favorite stores in that area.

They elude the scent of coziness, the feeling of home.

boney...

I keep wondering...what would it be like if I wasn't bon(e)y,
OR
didn't have bones...
OR
couldn't feel my bones...

I think, it's very likely, I would be sad.

As of late, there has been a need for me to re-evaluate what I have going on around me. This is what I have come to conclude...
sometimes people that were once important in your life, and trustworthy, are not anymore.
Not everyone is taught to be considerate, and not everyone thinks like "we" do. Yes, all this gibble gabble may be quite obvious. Yet, they are the things we forget quite easily. Why?

Simply because we get to caught up in our own lives, and constantly forget there are bigger things going on in the world.

We live on a floating sphere for goodness sake.

So maybe its about time I started to take to heart the things going on around me, though I would prefer to stay in my own little Victoria(land).

Just as an update for myself:::
I am using this blog, Poised and Rearing, as a place:
  • for my poetry,
  • thoughts I feel worth sharing
  • music that inspires my daily life & makes my heart feel
  • and a place to file phrases about life said to me, that I might not yet have an opinion on, but think worth noting and coming back to
  • Lastly of course, I want to throw in my photography
A reflection of me, maybe.

Just know, if you do actually read my blog, and care, I am every evolving, so don't hold me to anything on my blog.

signed,

fleeting, always poised and rearing
